RecommendsNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at United Talent full-time
Pros
You get what you put it working at one of the top agencies of the country. Although the Nashville office is a small group, there are opportunities.
Cons
NO DIVERSITY AT ALL. All agents are males and 90% of the support staff are females. Long hours with low pay (may have changed now). If you're "different" than everyone else, you don't really have anyone rooting for you to succeed.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at United Talent full-time for more than a year
Pros
great talent roster across many verticals, the name of the company has cache and can help you knock on doors and get meetings, nice office space in Beverly Hills, opportunity to work out of outer offices with approval, the UTA foundation team is the heart of the company
Cons
the company culture values "shark-like" behavior (which can mean success, but doesn't mean that people are treated the best), people working in silos, feeling like a cog/a bottom line number at the end of the day, seldom to no chances for growth as an Exec or Agent unless you want to try to become a Partner, no transparency regarding salary negotiations/bonus structure

I worked at United Talent full-time for more than a year
Pros
This is grad school in entertainment. You will get a lot out of the experience and it will certainly help you gain a foundation for understanding how the industry works. Will also meet a lot of other assistants and colleagues at a big agency like this.
Cons
It may not be the most fun experience and it all depends on how good or crazy your boss is.
