    Pros

    Pros

    Coworkers and patients are great

    Cons

Management is a bunch of talking heads and seem to miss the bigger picture often

    Advice to Management

Try to say things that make sense

I have been working at Valley Medical Center full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Money, that's about it. It does have benefits but they get reduced every year.

    Cons

No staffing which leads to issues with patient and staff safety, management that doesnt care so they hire more managers (who in turn do nothing to fix any problems), lay off, etc

    Advice to Management

You don't need to hire more of you, just do your jobs! Actually listen to employees instead of blowing them off.

    Pros

No cancellations. You are guaranteed of your hours

    Cons

Valley Medical Center has the lowest pay in the whole of Silicon Valley geographical area hospitals

    Advice to Management

Consider the pay raise for your staff. Bay Area is too expensive for the kind of pay you given to your staff

I worked at Valley Medical Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people you work with directly in the ER were great. There was always a sense of comraderie and as long as you pulled your weight, everyone was nice to you,

    Cons

Upper management was quite hard to reach if you don't work days

    Advice to Management

Have some sort of liason for night shift and actual ways of dealing with night shift employees.

I worked at Valley Medical Center part-time

    Pros

Some of my coworkers were great and I really enjoyed the doctors I worked with.

    Cons

I really struggled with the resignation around the use of dated technology. Generally speaking, people made the best of what they had, but it sometimes felt like I was the only one interested in making any workflow improvements. Equipment was used well past its relevant lifetime - while it was still functional, it was being used for a far longer time period than is standard
