    Pros

The academy is great and sets you up with the tools required to succeed. The atmosphere and the culture is brilliant and was very easy to fit into (I joined around 3 months ago).

    Cons

    None for me at all!

I have been working at Venquis full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Hard work and originality are rewarded and recognised.... it's what was promised when I interviewed to join the business in 2018, and has definitely been the case - I was promoted after 7 months. We all join businesses for different reasons, mine is always to make a genuine difference.. it's what makes me proud... and at Venquis you have the autonomy and platform to do things better. I think the environment suits dynamic,...

Venquis turns 8 years old this month - which makes us a young, agile, dynamic business, but we are still evolving and working on tightening up internal processes and procedures for example.

Venquis offer all new joiners a 13-week training academy where you are taught how to recruit properly, both candidate and client side. - Clear criteria for progression / promotion. With only 2 1/2 years' experience, I am now trusted to manage a team. - Excellent commission structure - you have the opportunity...

I worked at Venquis full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I have worked at Venquis for nearly 3 years and one of the things that I have appreciated the most is the culture. Venquis has worked hard to build a great internal brand and strong culture. The company has a flat structure, which means the environment is very open and honest. Operations and Sales work very closely together meaning that everyone is always offering help and support, enabling everyone to do their jobs to...

I have been working at Venquis full-time for less than a year

    Pros

My journey so far at Venquis has been the most productive 6 months I’ve had in my career. I had been advised by friends (who already have a career in recruitment) for a few years to join to the industry and finally made the jump. I have a sales background and was already in a job but I was just cruising and probably quite bored, I was looking for a fast paced sales environment where I could learn quickly through...

I worked at Venquis full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Seems like a lot of structure, you will come to find this is extremely false, very unfortunate being my first role as a Recruiter

    Cons

Poor management Narcissistic environment which unfortunately encourages sexism and racism Bad comission structure also Personally would not recommend for a Recruiter looking to break the industry. I have moved to another Recruitment firm offering so much more for a trainee

    Advice to Management

    None. Good luck

I worked at Venquis full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The training at Venquis was the most important starting block when joining as i was not from recruitment. They not only spend a great deal of money on training which shows, but also they spend a great amount of time in training individuals to go from good to great. The Brand and Vision is fantastic. The company knows exactly who they want to be and exactly where it wants to be. This gives a hug platform for individuals...

I have been working at Venquis full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Organic Growth - good at spotting talent and growing internally Strong future Vision - every member of the company is aware of the companies vision and updated on any changes Open door policy with management- flat hierarchy and approachable Training and Development - strong 13 week academy training followed by continuous training sessions to develop further

    Cons

As with any recruitment role you are rewarded for what you put in so there is a hardworking culture and longer hours but you are very well rewarded for this!

    Advice to Management

Continue the culture and rewarding us for what we do! I have Venquis a breath of fresh air in recruitment and look forward to being a part of the future vision.
