I worked at Verity full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get a fake investment banking tag. Every company in the industry know it is a sham title, so once you want to move out only menial and back end roles come your way.

    Cons

I had the worst time working for the Global Industrials (GIG) team. The staffers are incentivised on the basis of how much extra they can extract out of analysts and associates. Managers look for excuses to deny you leave. Professionalism goes out of the door, with the worst kind of culture being perpetrated. HR is non existent, for namesake. Everyone talks about leaving. There is no progress unless you suck up to your seniors, who act at will and think of themselves as god. Food is not upto human standards, I doubt animals would take it up either. This is the kind of company which will scar your mentality for life. It has zero lessons to teach you except how to live under undue pressure. People are stuck in this company because of 3 months notice period. If they reduce it to 1, everyone except managers will leave. They can then happily plan outings on weekday and taunt each other.

    Advice to Management

Like they would listen to what employees have to say.
