    Pros

Might be useful if you are an engineer looking to get into finance, although not even the best at that. Salary is a tad higher to comparable companies with regular appraisals.

    Cons

Work culture. Company signed onto some bogus contract that requires every single employee to be on campus from 9am to 9pm MINIMUM. Even if you're a fresher on your third day after college. Even if you literally don't have any work to do you might have to stay upwards of 10 hours a day. The line managers and staffers hold too much power. For the first few months you would be totally under the control of your... line manager/staffer and some of them are people who are in no way, shape or form suited to ever lead a group of professionals and yet have somehow remained in a leadership role for years together. Everything depends on what team you get into. I was a part of the worst team in the company under the worst possible manager ever who has a reputation of being abusive to just about anyone and the management doesn't seem to care because his team's performing well. Chips away at your mental health slowly if he doesnt like you, will straight up abuse you if he so much as feels like it. Toxic work culture.

    I worked at Verity full-time

    Pros

New learning opportunities, salary and compensation is good

    Cons

Poor management, Improper training orientation, work environment worse due to poor leaders and seniors, No proper training schedule, tedious work, politics, poor culture, Poor office canteen (food quality is not uptomark)

    Advice to Management

Implement good training environment for freshers and culture in office working environment. Only the team leaders(Manager) should take care of juniors and not the seniors because of manipulation and politics to keep juniors motivated to excel, Should implement a strong HR policy.

I worked at Verity full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-tremendous opportunities for learning and kick starting your career -excellent perks, bi-annual hikes, bi-annual bonuses (for Associates and above) -chances (very little though and depends upon Mgmt's discretion and a little upon your performance and attitude) of London/New York/Chicago/HongKong/Singapore internship opportunities (it's mostly a bait) -no gender-based discrimination when it comes to ensuring... quality and timely delivery of work

    Cons

-expect no time for yourself -no smartphones allowed inside, although improves work's efficiency, decreases your ability to do anything extra once you're back home after working hours -extremely high level, single-minded dedication is expected thereby you're always kept on your toes hopping from one project to another -extreme work pressure breaks your breathing rhythms, your eating habits/timings, your peace of... mind, cuts you off of your dear ones (happens, trust me) -every 3rd Saturdays are working EXCEPT ANY ADDITIONAL BENEFITS line cab fare/lunch/salary/leave reimbursements -login timings are fixed (~9.30-9.45am) but logouts are open ended and depend mostly on on-site bankers' discretion -3 months long notice period (for those who serve more than 1 year there) -45 days (max) of no-pay working days once you resign; this amount will be credited into your account after ~45days min. - e.g., if you put down papers on 15June, your last working day will be 16Sept and you'll not be paid Aug-Sep salary till you leave...and that Full & Final Settlement will be credited to your acc after min 45 days (on around 1-10 Nov) -below average food in cafeteria; this adds up to the pressure and bad moods -if unfortunately you land up in the bad teams, be prepared to see others enjoy TT/foozball etc from time to time, while you keep slogging and at the time of hikes/bonuses, get the average ones, even lower than those playing - choice of teams is not yours, of course

I worked at Verity full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Food coupons (₹115 per day and Transportation both are included in CTC )Nothing. Talk to someone before joining this firm, dont get carried away by the CTC, not worth it

    Cons

Inflated CTC, bad culture, 9:30 to 8 PM working everyday: you cant even leave at 7:30 even if your work is done you have to sit and wait till 8. Saturdays working without comp off or extra pay. Bad politics, micro Management. You wont even get time to eat or drink water.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees like humans and not making machine, improve the culture.
