    Pros

Great poeple to work with, some nice perks, cool holiday parties, summer Fridays. Working at Viacom looks great on your resume.

    Cons

Hard to move up, long hours and spotty management. They need to let go of the old bitter folks and let the young fresh minds take the company into the future.

    Pros

Great people, great environment to work in.

    Cons

They don't pay as much as they should. No comp time for when you're working all hours. They want to know when you take off but don't seem to care about the hours you put in.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the amount of time and effort put in.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Summer Fridays, Community give back days - basically anything that gets you out of the office

    A really cool brand

    Cons

Challenging the status quo is frowned upon by defensive, senior managers who have never worked outside of Viacom or know any different. Meritocracy is encouraged. Internal processes are laborious and bureaucratic and kill any sprinkling of creativity. Very much a top down company - not the place to work if you want to feel like you can make a difference or feel like anything other than a cog in a very large, corporate wheel

    Advice to Management

Stop saying you put people first when you don't - practice what you preach
