Depressing, Demotivating and Harassing Environment

Pros

Friendly Co-workers who are also suffering.

Cons

I have been silent about these incidents for so long but I don’t think I could go a long way bearing such a negative environment there in the office. The reason is my MANAGER, the guy who has given me all the reasons that have made me make up my mind that I should resign or somewhere back in my head I have decided to put him up for a legal suit against him. In spite of serving here with a handsome tenure .. I don’t think one should tell me that I am good for nothing and non-productive which is what constantly fed in my head that I don't do my job better.. I mean ..why would you give me salary anyway. Many of us are being mentally harassed like anything and I have started taking therapy sessions to get out of it. This has made such an impact that it's affecting my personal life due to me being in a depression. Even the HR is not supportive. Addressing with disrespectful words Never appreciate ones work .. NEVER EVER !! All he does is SHOUT Assign unnecessary work just to keep you busy for no reason Humiliating for no reason. All the above-mentioned points are not enough to describe how bad he treats his team. Which is why 70% of the team has been changed in a very short span of time because many of them left the job ..some with intimation and some without. I have also figured out a disturbing gesture of him planting a conspiracy among the team and ruining the harmony between them.

Appraisal system is a funny process

Pros

-No pros just word of mouth in case of appraisal process

Cons

-Appraisal process is very slow -Generally it happens in March in other companies but here it happens in JULY -AUGUST -Clearly stupid thinking of how to stop employees from leaving the company for there growth - Why should an employee work for the deadline when the company never fulfill promises and bahaving like a government office - Atleast now in government offices, they don't take this much time, grow up VINCULUM -Worst of all before releasing letters they are asking to join Vinculum on other social sites for popularity only then the letters will be released -Hats off to your wishy washy methods. go on...

Appraisal process especially timeline needs improvement - I completely agree on this. However whether it happens in March or in July, it is more about predictability and the ability to meet the timelines. We aim to start the process in April and issue the letters in June. However the process got extended to July this year. It is important to realize a delay here impacts Vinculum more than the growth of the employee. Employees get paid the increased salary from April backdated anyway. The best employees find jobs anytime round the year in our industry. It is only the average or below average people who find it difficult. That applies to them anytime not just in April. The more the delay , those employees stay in the company and also get increments which works against the business goals of the company. It is kind of ironic but true. In 2017 our goal is to complete the process in May. I am hopeful we will meet the goal.

Pros

Office location is fine that's it.

Cons

Too much work load that too with delayed salaries. Its story for every month. On every 1st or 2nd of the month you will get mail that salaries will be credited by 15th but that commitment is also not get meet. After every 2 or 3 months CEO comes in open house to say that we will soon get funding but nothing happens.
