I've never before worked somewhere that really did embody its values and mission statement and strive to do that. Everyone is unbelievably kind, respectful, considerate and... just, human. I feel valued and appreciated and though everyone is remote, there's a real sense of connection. There's a sense that Voxy is keen to be a healthy and harmonious workplace and that feedback is taken seriously.
Cons
There are of course frustrations here and there, times when something seems inconsistent or you wish a decision had been made differently, but honestly, no workplace is perfect, and everywhere else I've worked has been a lot more problematic. It would be nice if there were more paths forward for contractors.

It didn't provide a monitor to work and the benefit to buy one does not cover 100% of the price, but it is ok because we can buy a monitor ourselves and keep it

Great way to meet interesting people around the world. You learn so many new and wonderful things about people. The curriculum is really interesting for the teacher as well as the learner.
Cons
A terrible internal system that tracks hours and teacher/student interactions. Employees must track manually. No room for understanding with regard to personal emergencies, or other unexpected events. Staff can be very cold with their feedback. The amount of time it takes to plan for lessons that meet the standards of the admins does not equal the amount of pay.
