Pay is excellent, benefits excellent, time off excellent, leadership team is always available to help you even if it not about work. Has a real family feeling. I would recommend a career at Waste Management if you are looking for something that has structure and would like to be treat as a human and not a number.
Cons
Can have long hours no more than 13 in a day so not all bad because you are getting paid for that time. No other real con's.

Pros
PTO was generous for newer employees and I found that it was easy to take time off. The pay wasn't too bad, but it wasn't the best either.
Cons
Long, long hours. 6:30AM sharp start time every morning, and typically not leaving until 5:30/6:00PM. Worked every other Saturday. The work-life balance here is not good. The yearly raises are horrible unless moving to a new positon. And no, you don't get a "big raise" for doing a great job. Lots and lots of corporate micromanaging. Distrust in employees from management.
