Pros

Opportunity to work on diverse projects. Learned a lot through hands-on experience. Some good colleagues at the developer level. Flexible remote work. Exposure to client-facing work early on.

Cons

Significant pay disparity, colleagues with less tenure and narrower responsibilities earned significantly more. Took on dev, PM, QA, and client relations roles simultaneously for junior-level pay. Raise promises delayed for months. When concerns were raised, was told it was "structured" and couldn't change. Management speaks dismissively about employees behind their backs. Burnout is treated as an individual failing, not a systemic issue. Feedback from leadership can be condescending. When projects go poorly, upper management often shifts blame onto developers instead of acknowledging their own mistakes. It’s common for senior management to pin a project’s problems on an employee after they resign, even claiming they were responsible for “losing money to them.” Leadership communication could be inconsistent and audience-dependent, resulting in mixed messages about priorities, expectations, and accountability. The company placed strong emphasis on maintaining its public image, but was less willing to acknowledge internal issues constructively. When concerns were raised, leadership reactions could be emotional or reactive, and responsibility for problems was often shifted downward rather than owned at the strategic level. Feedback about leadership behavior did not appear to lead to meaningful improvement.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you valued the opportunity to work on diverse projects, gain hands-on experience, collaborate with strong colleagues, work remotely, and grow through client-facing responsibilities. We’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. While we do not agree with every characterization in this review, we take concerns about compensation, communication, workload, feedback, and management practices seriously. As a growing company, we know that roles can evolve quickly, especially in a client-focused environment where team members may gain exposure to multiple areas of delivery. That said, we recognize the importance of ensuring that responsibilities, expectations, compensation, and career growth are communicated clearly and reviewed consistently. We also want to be clear that respect and professionalism are important values for us. We do not believe in dismissing employee concerns or shifting accountability unfairly. When issues are raised, our goal is to address them constructively and use them as opportunities to improve. We understand that fast-paced project work can create pressure, and we continue to improve how we support our team, clarify priorities, manage workloads, and create channels for open feedback. We also remain committed to strengthening our internal processes so employees feel heard, respected, and supported. We appreciate the contributions of current and former team members and remain focused on building a workplace rooted in fairness, accountability, professionalism, and trust.
