      No opinion of CEO

I worked at Westpac Group full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Get to meet lots of people and if possible able to help

      Cons

Stressful environment more about making sales than actually helping people a lot of pressure from management to make sales

      Advice to Management

Stop and actually listen to your employees. There is so much pressure from management that creates a bulling environment from management

I worked at Westpac Group full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Staff are valued and many internal upskilling and training available.

      Cons

Depending on luck you may or may not find yourself under less than desirable management. Upper management tend to look after their own.

      Advice to Management

More transparency of upper management decisions.

I worked at Westpac Group full-time

      Pros

the company has great training on the companies people express elearning platform , however if your a newstarter you need someone to guide you through it most of the time this never happens like many other processes that have online maps but no one to guide you. Great uniform and offices.

      Cons

      - little to no support due to lack of experience in team leaders role -micro management to the max making it harder to achieve targets -too many RB systems and unnecessary doubling up of record keeping hindering work progress and making workers feel like they are peeling potatoes in the navy as corporal punishment. -targets for smaller branches not adjusted according to the customer base making targets unrealistic...

      Advice to Management

get more frontline staff. Get a good team for BEL that helps to navigate through support point and put arrows for this everywhere on the homepage. Only engage in Branch managers to branches when they are actually interested in training their staff and know how to. Alter your targets to customer base. Bring back the 4 week training for all new to bank staff.
