Pros
Lots of time to learn new technologies if you are in niche skills groups as it is difficult to find projects. Most of the time you would spend hard coding stuff rather than innovative to please the sales and so called king customers. Super work life balance if you are good enough and can talk big without delivering anything.
Cons
Management and hrs would treat as 'resources' who are no different to chairs, tables. Internal Politics is on a roll.
