I have been working at Wireless Advocates full-time for more than 4 years

        Pros

Most of the pros have been eradicated in the last 6 months.

        Cons

Wireless Advocates has completely lost the mission. Their core values are not demonstrated and they treat employees at all levels like disposable pieces of garbage. They aren’t willing to invest in adequate training, then get confused and angry when people don’t know how to do their jobs well. High level of micromanagement makes coming to work unbearable. Constant changes are erratic, unpredictable, and poorly managed....

Honestly only none. Do not work here unless absolutely necessary, but leave ASAP!

        Cons

I worked at Wireless Advocates part-time for more than 2 years

        Pros

        - easy job for what it is - commission is good (when you actually manage to get it!)

        Cons

Management (Especially corporate and regional managers) have no compassion and will boot someone out the door for the slightest screw-up

        Advice to Management

If someone is working during the slowest part of the day (closing shift) and doesn't sell phones that's not their fault and you shouldn't hold them accountable to sell phones to the same degree that people working busier shifts do.

I worked at Wireless Advocates full-time for more than 4 years

        Pros

I think most of the people complaining about Wireless Advocates must be entitled teens that have never had a job before. They definitely haven't worked in the wireless industry before. Having worked for almost every wireless carrier, as well as Best Buy, I can honestly say I would take Wireless Advocates over any of them. I worked here for 4 years (2 years as a fulltime employee and 2 years as a manager). I made about...

        Cons

The company isn't perfect. They are constantly changing commission structure and trying new things to motivate their teams, which can come across as micro management. But compared to a normal sales environment its pretty relaxed. This is not a career for most people. It's an opportunity to gain experience, to hone your tools, and to earn an honest living while you're in school. You are expected to be an expert...

        Advice to Management

A clearer path to district management, and an easier way to share ideas with the company would make WA a better career opportunity.
