    Great team in Derby who tried to beat a culture of nepotism

    Sleazy CEO. You would only progress if face fit. Poor salary for expected workload.

    Pros

    Bonus structure is v good. If you're organised and know your market you can take home 5k month on month. My manager was excellent, very nice guy and always available to help. Understood that a happy team is a productive team and did his best to foster that throughout my time there. You come in at 9 and leave at 6. There is no expectations to stay late to impress management. The only thing that impresses them is hitting targets month on month. Also no arbitrary KPI's which is refreshing. Make money and hit target and you'll be happy & so will the boss. The people are nice, copy team, imaging are all lovely, its a nice atmosphere to work in. Be a people person and you'll be alright. To summarise: Work hard, be organised, know your market, make the company money. You will do well.

    Cons

    Rules change month on month for lots of different reasons, some which are clear some which arent. The nature of FMCG means this isnt unheard of, but better communication/planning could be better. Day to day compliance is a nightmare, so much uneeded stress. Salespeople could get much more done if that didnt take up half of the day. Very little chance to progress unless you stick it out. Even small promotions would mean a lot and increase retention rate. HR

    Pros

    Really fun office environment which was perfect for coming out of university. If you want to get out of your student loan, you can start making money form day one. From what I've seen, good levels of progression and support from more experienced members if staff. Nice new office in Wework!

    Cons

    Sales is sales and it can get tough. Sometimes managers want to micro manage, but I think it's down to pressure they are getting.
