ZS is a great place to join as a fresher, the transition from a casual college life to a corporate world is seamless and easy at ZS. The kind of projects that ZS has is extremely diverse so there is a lot to learn and the standard of work is quite good. People are very helpful and always ready to teach so while the learning curve is steep, it is not very difficult if one is ready to put in the work. The compensation is quite good too, the salary is comfortable and the bonuses are pretty handsome. Great infrastructure and a lot of added benefits given to employees (travel to and from office, canteen services, etc.)

Cons

Work-life balance is quite bad. Working hours easily go to around 11 hours on a good day and can exceed to ~14 hours in times of high work pressure. This has become the norm of ZS so while Associate Principals and Principals suggest and encourage solutions to improve it, team leads don't really pay a lot of significance to it. Some teams do not make it easy to transition into other teams and areas.

Pros

1. It takes very good care of it's employees. Covid response is excellent. Has provided multiple success bonus apart from regular bonus. Gives gifts to family during diwali. 2. Growing company. Has provided 2 market corrections in last 2 years. 3. Very healthy work culture. 4. Employees are given personal coach/ PD coach to guide you and align you to the right project based on your interests. 5. You get to work with smart people. Everyone is really helpful. 6. Good learning curve and brand value. Helps you in MBA

Work life balance would be a con for many. But, it depends on your team. Zs is trying to come up with many initiatives to help employees have better work life balance.

Pros

Great Workplace to Learn and constantly grow. Managers and teammates are very helpful and understanding. Learning Curve is quite steep, so you'll gain lots of technical knowledge within a short duration.

Zero Work-Life balance. You are expected to work from 11 am to 12 at midnight, sometimes even late. Relatively lesser pay as compared to other firms in the same domain.

Poor Work-Life balance but the same is good for freshers and candidates who in their early careers as it gives a great boost to their growth.

-Good Exposure of Pharma Domain. ZS has no competitors in the pharma domain. -Some smart people to work with. -Steep Learning Curve. Someone can learn a lot in a brief period too.

-No Work-Life Balance- Prepare to devote at least 12 hours every day and forget you have a personal life. -Was not provided any boot camp training like others that joined with me. -My Immediate Senior before my last working day called me an abusive word. Height of unprofessionalism for someone who has been in the professional world for this long. When I said the same to HR, they said they will investigate but nothing came. (Treat people right, one of their motto, went wrong here).

Really good organization with a steep learning curve. ZS is a global professional services firm that leverages deep industry expertise, leading-edge analytics, technology and strategy to create solutions for clients that work in the real world.

But very poor work-life balance. getting into ZS through off-campus is very difficult
