    I've never been with a company like Zendesk where culture is very different but in a good way. Zendesk promotes collaboration not just people between teams but people between different departments across the globe. They also promote work-life balance and they pamper their employees so they will never burn out. In return, employees feel that the company trusts them so they deliver.     People are extremely helpful and collaborative. Management is understanding, supportive, and empathetic. Lots of interesting and complex technical challenges, at a big scale.

    Cons

    Hiring is still per-team, and not standardized across engineering (even within the same office). This is slowly changing. Diversity within engineering is pretty bad, at least for the US offices, and especially as you look at more senior levels, but from my perspective there's a lot of push for change in this area in the past year.     Pros

    Great People and Team Spirit. You find very inspiring individuals, with great market knowledge. It makes you enjoy going into the office everyday. There is also a good demand to the product that Zendesk offers and customers are (generally) happy! Company benefits are also good.

    There is a SERIOUS diversity problem in the London office. They just don't look into it when they hire - very few people of colour, very few muslims, very few women in sales!!!     Please take better care of your people. So many good talent left Zendesk because they were not given the opportunity to take the next step. You are missing big time here. Also, be more aware of your diversity policy. You can do better than this.
