I worked at Zimmerman Advertising full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It’s great to gain experience quickly starting off but the pay is terrible. There is a not guidance or positive mentorship to help great talent move forward.

    Cons

The turnover was insane. This company does not invest in you and once people realize that they quickly leave.

I have been working at Zimmerman Advertising full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice building, clients are world known

    Cons

Jordan Zimmerman runs this company much how North Korea is run. On a recent call, he instructed employees to work 2.5x more per day (8 x 2.5 = 20 hours). He said if you are unwilling to work 20 hours a day you need to quit so he can hire someone who is willing to work 20 hours a day. Since Covid-19 he has laid off 1/3rd of the workforce and is now monitoring people's systems, emails and chats to ensure you are in fact working 20 hours a day. If you are not you will be in fear of losing your job without the possibility of unemployment benefits. You are constantly in fear of being fired for political reasons. You may not voice your opinion for fear of retaliation. The HR team is not qualified to be in their positions and lacks the certifications typically found for a company of this size.

I worked at Zimmerman Advertising full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Most of the people are younger, so it's a nice place to start out of college and get some experience. The benefits are decent, pretty good PTO and paid vacations.

    Cons

Being that it's such a large agency, they have a hard time affording basic life essentials. They tell you there's a lot of room for growth, but unless someone leaves, there really isn't.

I worked at Zimmerman Advertising full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You pretty much work your 9am - 6pm hours except for some employees who would stay quite late. Majority worked 9-6.

    Cons

The word "team" means nothing majority of the time. The teams I worked with were constantly searching to push blame onto others in order to make themselves, as an individual look better. Management had trouble dispersing work. Poor, rushed training. Very understaffed, which caused the ripple effect of rushed training, and so on and so forth.
