    Pros

Good work life balance, Flexible Timings, Cabs facility, Good for female employees.

    Cons

Very Less learning, Zero Onsite opportunities, Less Hike, High attrition value since 1 year - Approximately 80 employees left company or pushed forcefully to vendor.

Not right place for Test Engineers !

    Advice to Management

Stop listening to new managers / directors, For god sake try to retain employees without loosing the talented folks.

I have been working at athenahealth full-time

    Pros

Good compensation when you join the company.
    WFH option
Work life balance, but depends on you project and manager

    Cons

Lots and lots of politics that I never see in my previous companies.
Frequent mass layoffs and re structuring.
No clear vision of what can be do more with current products.
POs not having any domain experience and become a burden for Developers.
New policies and direction from office of CTO (New CTO) doesn't look good for company and employees.
Started agile process but going in wrong direction.

    Advice to Management

I joined this company with lot of enthusiasm . But withing few weeks i realized that i am in a wrong place and now i regret for my decision. I can see this company and culture is going down day by day. I dont think SLT (people above AHI) is taking seriously the internal politics and employee engagement concerns in Bangalore.
If things go in this way, the company will loose many people joined in last one or two years because of frustration.

I worked at athenahealth full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company gives you good hike on switching as it is a Product company.

    Cons

    1. Worst work culture
    2. Managers keep on poking you all the time which creates a lot of mental pressure and affects the performance
    3. Lot of micro management. The managers even keep an eye on your break timings.
    4. Least technical senior management.
In one word, there is a lot of politics in the company that no one would have seen in their previous companies.

    Advice to Management

Do not just keep an eye on your technical team, but do keep track of the senior management (especially the managers) as well and do not let all of these politics within affect the employee's performance/

    Pros

    Work from home is good
    Team budget is good

    Cons

    Salary less than market standard
Using age old technologies No re-architecture plans for existing products

    Advice to Management

when I got interviewed I planned to stay for at least 5-6 years. Recruiter told me after interview that your response is positive we will definitely offer you. Hearing that i resigned from my current company as Management promised lot of good things.
Then after 3 weeks recruiter released offer where salary was less than my current CTC. This she did not mention earlier. I did not have much time to look for another offer as my notice period was almost ending (28 days notice period).
I thought that i will join as work promised was very good. I am having around 10 years of experience in Java and when i joined they put me in some maintenance project in perl.
Now I am being paid less than my juniors (6 year junior than me) and doing maintenance work.
Do not do such things to anyone.
