    I worked at bioMérieux full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great company, great benefits, competitive products. Pension! (not sure if they still have them). Invest in the right things - CRM, ERP, reporting, which helps when you are trying to perform data analysis and historical trending.

    Cons

    Some of the management is far too tenured (and French, at times), and is sometimes oblivious to the real needs of employees or customers. Somewhat flat organization, and rarely see potential leaders get the chance.

    Pros

    Well known Company in diagnostic sales

    Cons

    Compensation has dropped significantly in recent years. Far less then industry average. Product line in this division is very weak, now that several manuf/vendors carry main test.

    I worked at bioMérieux full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great team to work with. Good quality products that were market leaders.

    Cons

    Top management is egotistical and unrealistic. They do not plan well for the future and although they claim to care about employees they only care about shareholders. The company used to care about the people that made it what it was but after it went public everything changed and not for the better.

    High quality and unique products. Side benefits are ok beside base salary.

    Too much and time-consuming manual procedures. Low Salary. Weak internal relations.

    I worked at bioMérieux full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Decent base and training. Allowed to keep travel reward points (hotel & air)

    Cons

    Commission never paid on time. Too focused on admin related metrics which don't necessarily correlate to success (reports, expenses. Etc) . #of meeting per day quota is useless and mandatory travel is waste of company resources and not always best use of time. Horrible work life balance with 4+ days a week on the road
