I have been working at iPlace full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    1) salary
    2 )every weekend off.
    3) maximum approachable people around.

    Cons

    1 )NO onsite opportunity !!
    2) NO any other product to sell to client
    3) NO clients excepts from USA.

    Advice to Management

I think the cons I have mentioned could be the solution of retention of employee which is the biggest challenge. ONSITE opportunity excites a lot and also indicates the company is in real good position in terms of business! if we could start more services or products with recruiting and sourcing for example lets say.. (Market research) its sounds excited isn't it?, and ofcource if we could reach different part of the world including USA (for eg.. middle east region, Asia, Europe and many more) i think will easily reach our 10k + strength with huge global footprint..

I have been working at iPlace full-time

    Pros

Iplace USA is an ideal place for those who are looking for a long and reliable career instead of switching from one domain to another. Training is conducted right from the basics till you graduate to be a full time recruiter.

    Cons

Launchpad can be fatal sometimes especially if you are commuting on your own to report in time to avoid escalations.

    Advice to Management

Weekly performance to commence from Monday instead of Friday from a pyschological point of you.

I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

One could grow easily in this company if he/she works works towards the goals and strategies set by the company. Good environment to work.

    Cons

Lot of work pressure towards the employees which leads to stress and frustration towards work and also affects the health of the employee.

    Advice to Management

It's good to set strategies to grow the company but at the same time management should value the amount of work and pressure the employee faces. When it comes to in-time and the other rules, it is good to get all the employees to office before time but management should also consider the consequences of reaching to office before time just to get a star by putting their life at risk.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at iPlace full-time

    Pros

The positives of the company from my short experience here are as follows:

    - The work environment is very friendly and stress free.
    - The employee management relationship is very cordial and positive.
    - The experience of interacting with clients directly has been great.
    - The highest echelon of the company is very accessible, polite and down to earth.
    - Working in World Trade Center is a very big plus.

    Cons

The negatives of the company from my short experience here are as follows:

    - No training in corporate etiquette, email writing, MS Excell and conflict management
    - The fact that an employee can be billed and can get stuck on a slow account, therefore hindering career progression.
    - Penalizing employees for their cab being late is massively discouraging.

    Advice to Management

The advice I would like to give to the management would be as follows:

    - There is an urgent need to come up with a system to make training and development for every employee a continuous process. Adding new skills is very important not only for the individual employee but also for the company as a whole.
    - Monthly board meetings are better than quarterly.
    - Making formals compulsory for at least 3 days a week is important to make the work environment a little more professional.
    - The conversion rate of every recruiter is more important than just focusing on submissions. Introducing the submission to interview conversion rate as part of the strategies in the launchpad would be great step forward in making the company move from a submission centric work place to interview centric work place.
