I have been working at iPlace full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No more pros... favoritism has taken away growth opportunity

    Cons

Too much favouritism by COO, if you friends with him you can get promotion but if you not then you get nothing. You say bad things about him and he make your work life bad. I have a friend who was shocked that they remove him from account. When he ask client, they said they are happy with him and want to keep him...
I hear from two managers talking that if the COO friend gets promotion that supposed to be for one of two managers then they will put in papers to leave. If managers can't grow then team can't grow. We were promised fair promotions with launchpad.

    Advice to Management

Stop the favoritism! No one good reason why somebody from HR in nightshift should take away promotion from managers who worked hard to build the sourcing team and relationship with client.

    Pros

friendly environment, fun Friday, employees are getting paid as per the designation, shift timing, massage facility has been provided by the company,

    Cons

cafeteria is a big issue because most of the people dont stay with their families so they are expecting a good food from the company or from the vendor, policy changes overnight, no seek leaves are provided, even favoritism is a big issue,

    Advice to Management

management should not just focus on the client they should also focus on the employee. if the employee is happy then he/she will work positively and ultimately the client will get happy because of the employees performance.

I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The Pros have all turned into cons. so I wouldn't waste time on this.

    Cons

There's problem with the management. It's the selection process that shocks me the most. I've seen people with 18 months of experience being promoted to a manager. They add zero value to the clients as they do not know much about the industry needless to say about their experience. The policies are not applicable to the Managers and above. A perfect example of this would be a sabbatical leave/ unscheduled leaves. If a sourcer/recruiter takes an unscheduled leave due to their family member being critically ill; that person would be told to resign. However, the same situation occurs in case of a manager, then they will be let off. I think their are not sensitive and are only looking for robots who would work and it would be a sin to even take a sick leave and what's even funny that they have a policy of applying three days prior to taking a leave. The so called "Heads" and "Managers" are actually dumb and I have seen some of them trying to find the "!" key on a keyboard. It actually took that manager 30 seconds. Launchpad system is fine but I think it's being put before the client. They would want us to focus more on launchpad and less on clients even if my productivity is less.

iMakeadifference is just a fancy word and I haven't seen it working. If iPlace continues to go this way I feel it would lead to a disaster and if you see the attrition then I dont think it would reach the 10000 employee mark.

    Advice to Management

Stop managing and start working together with the employees. I expecting a standard followup comment to my review.

I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This Workplace is full of Young Dynamic People.
    Company provides good classroom training
It is very Good company to start your career as the company pays good salary to freshers

    Cons

    - There is No stability or job security as such, the attrition rate is very high Most of the senior recruiters and sourcers are leaving the company.
    - No retention strategies, management wont even care if someone is leaving.Management folloows hire and fire policy.
    - 4000 retention bonus is cut from the employees salary which is almost 20% of the freshers salary
    - Leave Policy of this company is very Pathetic. Taking unscheduled leave at iPlace is like a Crime.
    - I am still Wandering what are the parameters on which they have promoted to the employees. If Revenue generation is the only criteria then there are so many Sourcers / Recruiters at iPlace who has generated lot of revenue for the Company but still they are working at the Junior position.
    - Everyone doesn't get equal opportunities to make money in terms of Incentives. Some Clients are very tough to work and some are very good. If you get a good client to work then you can make so much money; but if you get a Tough client then there is no chance. You will not get even a single placement (ultimately No money and no promotions)

    Advice to Management

Please promote the Employees by of their capability ; not because of favoritism my Management people.
