Unscheduled leaves harm the company and the client. We have been fired off accounts due to unscheduled leaves. We want to find a win-win-win solution for this, but every unscheduled leave is a ... More

I have been working at iPlace full-time

    Pros

Infrastructure is good. Salary is good and comes on time. Co-workers are very cooperative and friendly. Good place to learn and grow.

    Cons

Company's new policies keeps on changing. Leave policy is the biggest issue, need to understand they have hired humans not machines. Every week there is a challenge which can not be achieved. If you come 5 minutes late , u might loose your job. Company doesn't care about their employees.

    Advice to Management

Managers and heads please focus on clients, what they want not just put unrealistic targets on employees. Change the leave policy, no one knows when he/she will fall ill then how can he/she inform the company before time. Consider the employees as humans not machines. Don't just go on numbers go for quality work. Consider the experience and knowledge of the employee before replacing him/her with a newcomer who just gives numbers not quality.

I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Friendly work culture
    Competitive salary
    Appropriate for freshers
    Comprehensive benefits

    Cons

    Micromanagement
    Stringent, non-flexible leave policy
Management keeps changing policies and strategies every week barely giving time for employees to adjust

    Advice to Management

In the pretext of making promotions transparent, undeserving employees are promoted because of the newly introduced Launchpad.
Senior management needs to get a grip on the way they speak to employees when they are pressurized. They need to have the decency and professionalism of having a professional conversation in a cabin and not in the midst of other people on the floor.
In spite of the LDP program, some managers and many TL's don't exhibit the level of skills needed to carry their title.
Since we deal with American clients, the most basic requirement of any employee speaking to our clients is "communication skills", which is sadly poor.
iPlace has become the talk of the town but for the wrong reasons, it was a GREAT company a while back before Launchpad was introduced.
The company has great capacity to grow and become the BEST in its field, but really needs to analyse what's working for the company and what's not in.

I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This Workplace is full of Young Dynamic People.
    Company provides good classroom training
It is very Good company to start your career as the company pays good salary to freshers

    Cons

    - There is No stability or job security as such, the attrition rate is very high Most of the senior recruiters and sourcers are leaving the company.
    - No retention strategies, management wont even care if someone is leaving.Management folloows hire and fire policy.
    - 4000 retention bonus is cut from the employees salary which is almost 20% of the freshers salary
    - Leave Policy of this company is very Pathetic. Taking unscheduled leave at iPlace is like a Crime.
    - I am still Wandering what are the parameters on which they have promoted to the employees. If Revenue generation is the only criteria then there are so many Sourcers / Recruiters at iPlace who has generated lot of revenue for the Company but still they are working at the Junior position.
    - Everyone doesn't get equal opportunities to make money in terms of Incentives. Some Clients are very tough to work and some are very good. If you get a good client to work then you can make so much money; but if you get a Tough client then there is no chance. You will not get even a single placement (ultimately No money and no promotions)

    Advice to Management

Please promote the Employees by of their capability ; not because of favoritism my Management people.

I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

iPlace has a Good work environment, Good packages, awesome incentives on placements, six monthly reviews, Performance Based Culture

    Cons

Can put in more efforts in terms of Learning and development of tenured employees
    Can be more structured
    Leave policy is not good

    Advice to Management

When new policies and rules have to be implemented, they have to be slow and steady so that the employees can absorb them. Too many rules introduced at the same time is causing dissatisfaction among employees. Can also try to be more employee friendly.
