    Pros

    - Above average salary compensation - Risk based and adaptive monitoring - Robust study systems - Comprehensive Onboarding Training

    Cons

    Line Managers - Negate to provide CRAs with feedback from sites, sponsors and internal team - Disregard evidence of CRA prejudice by sites, in order to deflect from site unfitness - Ignore essential study communication, logs and trip reports to investigate negative site feedback - Failure to discuss disparaging complaints or provide disciplinary documentation during 1-on-1 - Changing of 3 Line Managers in 90 days - Multiple re-assignment of Line Managers (LM) during and after hiring - CRCs can report CRAs as unfavorable when identified as a problem site - Reprimand CRAs that ask to review CRC/PI accountability - Delayed mentorship to sign off for CRA training upon hire Project Teams: - Tyrannical clientele allowed to devalue CRAs through project teams. - Muddled collaboration by too many vendors and CROs on projects, causing unpredictable timeline changes - Incoherent communication hierarchy for Project Managers - Unable to contact PM by phone, when onsite - Site disrespect CRAs with non-legitimate complaints to avoid adhering to contractual agreements - PM ignores CRAs request for 3months in advance site visit scheduling options to prevent time management conflicts - Project team intervention for PIs that do not meet CRAs to discuss oversight concerns - Project team lacks continuity in approaching the sponsor with issues - Sponsors pushing back on project team's enforcement request - IP return process inadequate - Too many study report systems for remote monitoring are not useful - Numerous glitches in CTMS causing delays in trip report deliverables - Logistical concerns with receiving study equipment (e.g. laptop, monitor) piece mailed - Sites missing database lock deadlines - Confusing quality assurance process Human Resources: - Expected driving up to 150+ miles each way to/from airport, not detailed by recruiters or documented in job description - HR approved CRA job description (not on website) requested from recruiter not in hiring packet - Piece mailed study equipment delivery
