    Pros

    Stable company with flexibility to request sick days and time off.

    Cons

    Internal customer experience between departments is poor. Low company morale with zero incentive or annual pay raises or bonus options.

    Advice to Management

    Be more invested in building relationships between departments and avoid redundancies.

    Pros

    j2 is the best organization I've worked for. My Director is pretty awesome. The individuals within the engineering team truly care about the products we offer.

    Cons

    Location can be somewhat challenging.

    Advice to Management

    Slow down a bit in order for the organizational processes to align as one. Rome was not built over night.

    Pros

    The good stuff:
    Benefits, such as health, dental& life insurance, contribution towards pension, free breakfast and lunch provided, some awesome company paid employee events, tax saver scheme, some paid sick days. - FYI, could be promoted at a better level, many employees are not aware of them!
    Some strong teams, good people to work with, helpful and supportive, especially some of the managers, which really go over and beyond for their teams.
    Some awesome and genuinely nice people around all departments.

    If you really want to learn this is the place to do it, as you have the chance to master cross-functional communication, upskill yourself, get a better sense of what an organization means and understand the complexity of the business environment (given that you are willing to dive into your job, go beyond your daily tasks and avoid the routine, basically roll up your sleeves and get to work, which some people don’t practice in j2.)
    A company with good enough opportunities to progress from an entry level to mid-level position, however, given the office size and some old mentalities, there’s little room left to progress further.

    Cons

    The not so good stuff:
    Poor internal communication.
    Some employees are not performing at the level they should and they create a precedent.
    Micromanagement.
    Hard targets to reach for a fading technology.
    Overworking due to never-ending headcount issues.
    Location isn’t great if you’re not from The North (winter is coming).
    Facilities could use some improvement ASAP.
    No maternity benefits.
    Lack of flexibility.

    Pros

    You can work on the same hardware your grandpa had put into production.

    Cons

    Upper management points fingers. Highlights failures and not successes. Teams do not work together. management is more worried about cost reduction vs. making a stable product. No long term strategy for teams.

    Advice to Management

    The team needs to consolidate Platforms. Leadership needs to remove IT leaders who are just mean and not professional!

    Timezone crossover with HQ is limited so you need to be flexible

    Pros

    *Good salary
    *Some nice people (and one of the best supervisors ever)
    *Short term work 6-9 months recommended. You will learn a lot and it will be helpful for your future career

    Cons

    *Bad management and HR
    *No help
    *Crazy and busy environment (as if we were machines)
    *Some supervisors are there because of a friend and not because they deserve it (they have no idea about their job after many years and they need help instead of helping others as they should)
    *No possibility to grow (only if you are manger's best friend)

    Advice to Management

    If the product does not work is not possible to have good reputation, or you enhance the product or nobody will want it
