I worked at onefinestay full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

At the start it was a friendly place to work with interesting challenges. I learnt a lot and my career was the better for it.

    Cons

Confused strategy due to management in fighting . More focus on presenting the company as a success than actually making it work.

    Advice to Management

A culture of more humility and openness, as hard as that is to achieve, would almost certainly improve things.

I have been working at onefinestay full-time

    Pros

While the company has gone through *some* growing pains with recent changes following a three company merger (what company wouldn't?), they are beginning to align a solid operational strategy, paving the road toward growth and solidifying their place as a top provider for luxury home rental experiences across the globe. Aside from the state of the company following a triple merger, onefinestay offers and exciting and sought after product and service. With an extremely knowledgeable, veteran sales team, onefinestay is poised to compete more and more heavily with airbnb as they find their footing in the marketplace.

    Cons

Not many. In my humble opinion, the majority of reviews here smell strongly of sour grapes. Again, aside from the recent triple merger--of which there proved to be some speed bumps--this brand's future is bright!

I worked at onefinestay full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Can't really think of any Pros as it was the worst company I have ever worked for.

    Cons

-Good at dismantling companies that they acquire
-They do not believe in teamwork
-They are really good at giving money away and not making it
-They do not care about their employees - HUGE turnover
-They do not believe in an American business plan
-They do not pay well at all, there are no bonuses

    Advice to Management

-Have a clear overall business plan and follow it
    -Have more transparency
-Care about your employees and don't overwork them
-Care about your clientele and resolve any issues that come up with their stay. Don't give away money when nothing has been resolved with the owner/property manager. (You wonder why OFS is losing money)
-Work on a better response time with future and present clientele
-Cross-train employees on destinations so they know how to work with clientele instead of passing them on to another person to take care of.
-Teamwork is key in any establishment across the world. There is no "I" in team.
-Work with one software program instead of many
-Make sure everything on your website is up to date and matches the property managers website.
    -Stop outsourcing
-You need to work on your HR department as it is not professional.

    Pros

Hmm. Let me think... Not much.

    Cons

This company is falling apart. The environment in the NYC office is horrible. People stab each other in the back. There is no good ethics here. Stay away.

This company has gone through 3 CEOs in the last year. 11 Senior Management members are gone within the last year. Every single person puts on a fake face in front of you while they go off behind your back. Does not matter how much effort you put into the company.

    Advice to Management

Get your ... straight and treat your employees like they're actually your colleagues.

I have been working at onefinestay full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fantastic New Senior Leadership Team, Room for Development, Autonomy, Ability to use your ideas to build systems and structure. Transparency around plan for the end of 2018 into 2019.

    Cons

Several Upper Management Shifts and Fundamental problems with the Core Business Model

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your team members and build strong bridges of communication between departments to drive quality and consistency. Everyone needs to be incentivized to protect the business' bottomline.

    I worked at onefinestay full-time

    Pros

The recruitment process is thorough and ensures that employees and those joining are all smart, like-minded, dynamic and thoroughly empathetic and kind. It makes working for onefinestay an enjoyable experience.
Strong company culture and employees look out for each other.

    Cons

    Salary is below industry levels.
Lack of alignment between top management and employees - divide just grew over 2018.
Company has struggled to find its identity in a post-buyout landscape. Start-up or corporate?

I worked at onefinestay full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Paid during travel, paid when waiting for drivers

Some people are quite friendly, it's great to be able to see different properties everyday and do different activities

    Good exercise, keeps you moving

Office people seem quite nice, I think they are however delusional when it comes to the Team Member's English proficiency and would rather hire Romanian employees than make sure all employees speak good English by providing classes etc

    Cons

Most team member employees about 90%) are Romanian, most speak extremely limited english, it's easier for them to speak their mother tongue than to have to practice and improve their English. Makes communication difficult at times and wastes time as well.

Team Members can't have access to the weekly schedule, including which members they're going to work with.

Had difficult times when other team member got impatient and would shout at me, no Team Leader stepped in to tell her that behavior was unprofessionnal, this hapenned with different Team Leaders.

Not enough drivers, means your shifts can be delayed quite badly.

Warehouse also has tendency to forget some items, delaying shifts further

    Advice to Management

Hiring more drivers would help the operations run much more smoothly.

Either only hire Romanian Team Members so they can communicate efficiently with each other or provide them with English classes so they can communicate with every other non-Romanian Team Member

Many opportunities to grow if in the right team.

    Cons

Complicated merger with many of the companies acquired by Accor.
