Hey Everyone, I work for PayPal as a Backend Developer ( Software Engineer 3) for past 3 years. Have 7 years total exp. I got an offer from Akamai Technologies as a Full Stack Developer (SSE2) Need to understand about Akamai work culture and it's brand value comparing to brand value of PayPal. Hi All, I got an offer from akamai technology through any consultancy firm they are giving 30% hike but my current organisation want me to get retained they are giving 70% hike on my current CTC but I don’t like the work which I am currently doing. My manager told me to take a decision tell that in next two days and I called the HR from other company they don’t want to increase my compensation. What would be the good decision.

Is it a myth that compensation in the north ( Delhi,Gurugram,Noida) is less than what someone might get at south (Bangalore,Chennai,Pune, Hyderabad) ? If that is the case how to over come this?
