Juneteenth is a celebration of 155 years of freedom and an important reminder that meaningful action and perseverance can result in profound, positive change. This anniversary provides us with an opportunity to reflect on how we can continue to educate ourselves, support our communities and advocate for equality. The Ares Black Alliance is hosting a virtual learning session today for the Ares Community with Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, noted author, Georgetown University sociology professor, a New York Times contributing opinion writer, and a contributing editor of The New Republic. As a leading voice on race, politics, religion and culture, we are honored to have Dr. Dyson share his perspective and insights on where we are today as a nation and how we can all seek to bring about change in our world.

The Ares Network of Empowered Women (ANEW) was honored to host a remote event with Pooja Jesrani, a NASA flight director responsible for managing operations for all human spaceflight programs including the International Space Station. Pooja spoke to more than 200 Ares employees about her journey from putting up astronaut photos in her childhood bedroom to directing enormous teams at Mission Control. This event kicked off an ongoing remote event series called Women Leaders Breaking Through, hosted by Ares in partnership with Mindr, to showcase brilliant female leaders who have triumphed under challenging circumstances.

Over the last 20 years, we have consistently believed that by building and growing a global franchise in credit, private equity and real estate we would be able to create advantages through collaboration and self-origination across our platform. By harnessing those advantages, we seek to deliver a differentiated value proposition to our clients. https://lnkd.in/gN2N2Gv
We’d like to say a special thank you to Ares Management Corporation for so generously donating to our Covid-19 Emergency Fund.
