  • Mohit Shukla, Head – India Legal and Lead India Regulatory and Government Relations, recently spoke at the Nasscom Diversity & Inclusion Summit 2019 on the subject of LGBT+ Inclusion in the Workplace. Mohit spoke of how we celebrate diversity and create an inclusive environment where colleagues feel confident bringing their whole selves to work. Furthermore, he stressed on the importance of LGBT+ allies, and the power that they bring to the force of inclusion as that can bring about change on a significant scale.   • Chitra Shyamsunder spearheads Diversity and Inclusion agenda at Barclays. On the recent recognition of Barclays in India amongst the top 10 companies by Working Mother Media and Avtar The Power of Diversity in their list of ‘100 Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI)’ for second year in a row she commented “Barclays has always been committed to make its workplace more inclusive. This recognition shows the progress we are making in the areas of women talent attraction, retention and development and our commitment to creating a gender inclusive ecosystem.” She added, “We have a long way to go and need to acknowledge tremendous amount of opportunities that are yet to be unlocked within each organisation to further gender diversity and inclusion agenda.” #BeMoreAtBarclays.     Applications are open for the 2019 New York Barclays Accelerator, powered by Techstars, which will run at Rise New York - soon to become the bank's largest global fintech community space.     Using robots to make finance reporting efficient and timely

    Country Exposure return is an important quarterly regulatory return which helps the regulator (in this case, Bank of England) understand the exposure of the Bank to various counter parties/ countries/ sectors and its position from a Global - systemically important banks (G-SIB) perspective, which in-turn defines the capital requirement for the Bank.

  • Congratulations to Malathi Raja and team Tamil Nadu on winning the runner-up trophy at the National Wheelchair Basketball Championship held at Mohali. Malathi led the team through five matches, and also took charge of the logistics right from finding sponsors, acquiring sports wheelchairs to making travel arrangements for other team members.
