Join us in congratulating John Davidson, MBA, PA-C, Senior Director, Physician Assistant Services and Care Management/Transitions who was recently appointed to the board of the New York Chapter of the American Case Management Association (ACMA)! As an extremely valued member of the NYU Langone Health community, John oversees the professional practice of more than 850 physician assistants, specialist assistants and radiology assistants across the health system. John remains clinically active as a physician assistant in the emergency department at NYU Langone and collaborates on a number of projects to improve healthcare utilization, transitions of care, post-acute care partnerships and maximize patient throughput.

Early in the #Covid19 pandemic, many patients diagnosed with Covid in the emergency department (ED), whose symptoms were mild enough to recover at home, were back in the ED within a few days. In most instances, these patients were no sicker upon their return. Dr. Victoria Terentiev, a fourth-year resident specializing in emergency medicine at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, found a virtual solution to help with Covid questions and counseling. How? Join us in extending a heartfelt congratulations to the 2020 Frank Cirabisi Security Officer of the Year, Anjeza Ylli! After graduating from the Albanian Police Academy and working in security for the U.S. Embassy in Albania, where she was born and raised, Anjeza moved to the U.S. and joined the NYU Langone Health security team in July 2019. “Anjeza demonstrates what a security officer should be in her ability, demeanor, and customer service, all while being a great team player,” says Robert Zick, senior director of Security.
