We have launched a one-of-a-kind 6 months learning program ? JUNIOR TECH GEEKS ? for the kids of SDians, aged between 7 to 14. We partnered with our Tech team (experts) who designed a range of easy learning modules for budding tech talent. An introductory session with the Head of Technology, Prashant Parashar helped guide the young minds on how computers are configured, how the websites work, what is artificial intelligence, how to connect videos, the process to make apps and much more, that the young geeks were curious to know. Previous week, we had the first session on UI/ UX and we were happy to see how these kids we able to quickly grasp the nuances of tech languages. Here are the glimpses of the session.
Needless to say, the months gone by have been unprecedented, unheard of and have brought a great deal of anxiety to all of us. We understand that not everyone is equipped to cope up with such difficult situation on their own. Even though the various initiatives undertaken at Snapdeal during WFH mode have helped engage & de-stress SDians, it is also important to understand and acknowledge the need to talk about pressing issues like Mental Health. Understanding the fact that people are not comfortable sharing their anxieties, stress & insecurities; we had launched a ?Mind Wellness Program? couple of months back. In this program, we have empanelled a professional counsellor for SDians and their family to open up and talk in a safe, confidential space. The Counsellor recently conducted a webinar on Mental Health, where she iterated that it is okay to feel overwhelmed &healthy to seek help. The program has been lauded as a thoughtful initiative and has helped our folks in these difficult times.
