Lead Data Scientist for NewTech

Come join our NewTech Machine Learning team and execute on end-to-end Machine Learning solutions.

KPMG NewTech drives the implementation, strategic and training agenda for AI and emerging technologies for our clients (i.e. machine learning, robotic process automation, Internet of Things, virtual assistants, AR/VR, Blockchain, digital strategy, NewPractice processing and training – amongst others).

KPMG NewTech also drives the KPMG Quantum hub regarding quantum technology.

The job as a Lead Data Scientist

In this role, you will be expected to execute on the full life cycle of our Machine Learning projects. This includes understanding our client's problem, envisioning the solution and supporting the team in delivering on it, while ensuring proper implementation.

The job mainly consists of developing and implementing state-of-the-art Machine Learning solutions for our clients across all industry verticals. The tasks related to this can be:

  • Hands-on coding the solutions together with the team
  • Supervising and coaching the team to ensure high quality deliverables
  • Designing the solutions from a high level, including what data, model and infrastructure to use
  • Help the client understand and realize the value of the solution.
  • Have a strong focus on getting the solutions into production
  • Spar with different team members working on different solutions

About you, our newest team member

You are a Machine Learning expert with an appetite for pushing the boundaries of technology. You may have a background as a Senior Data Scientist or leading a Data Science or Machine Learning team.

Requirements for the role are as follows:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Data Science
  • Experience deploying Machine Learning models into production
  • Proven experience in relevant programming languages, such as Python or R
  • Experience working with a broad range of models within the Machine Learning suite
  • Fluent in English

Additionally, it would be a plus if you:

  • Have knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Have experience setting up API’s and pipelines
  • Have experience working as a consultant
  • Are fluent in Danish
