What will your role be?
Technical Leadership - Has experience and played a crucial role in successfully implementing enterprise solutions, in a cloud environment, using a vast range of data engineering and cloud technologies.
Works on tasks independently and advises junior engineers.
Helps design and build multiple critical components on more complex data projects. Ability to play a critical resource for medium-large teams.
Delivers - Critical pieces of ETL pipelines
Design documentation, test cases/tests ensuring reliability and mitigation strategy.
Skills mastery in many areas. Multi-practice awareness.
Stakeholder Management - Has managed technical and commercial Director/VP stakeholder relationships. Challenges client expectations and project scope where needed. Has managed expectations on projects spanning more than 1 business line. Aware of customer budget and spend.
Coding - Can pick up anyone's code. Evangelizes ETL best practices.
Community Health - Shared ownership of community agenda, content and goals. Ensures community governance, monitors health.
Marketing - Lead an external facing activity - 1 blog post or 1 event (examples being partner, meetup or conference) every 6 months
Optionally responsible for the technical mentorship and guidance of a team of up to 5 people, keeping members accountable for action items on IDP, owning initiatives (May be externally called "Tech Lead")
