Business Analyst, IT - Job Description

The Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing business processes and system integrations end-to-end to identify and to address operational, financial and technological risks and opportunities for growth. The BA will identify initiatives to improve efficiencies. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect internal and external customers.
This team member can play many roles from “middleman” to architect and everything in between. The BA is a great communicator and enthuses his/her audience by creating desire and excitement around participating in the solution. They are articulate both in verbal and written communication with expert documentation stills. They bridge that common gap of communication between a business and IT and easily become key, trusted members of project teams and system owners. This person is catalyst for progress, and able to fully embrace change as well as weather the storms that so often come with it. They can comfortably address every level of the organization through positive, well thought out, recommendations.
