Your Responsibilities:
We are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst to join our Global Manufacturing & Supply plant based in Ulu Klang. This role will mainly be accountable for performing tests for finished goods and stability and preparing testing reports.

The Role:
• Finished Goods and Stability section
• To support manufacturing flow in Sterling Drug Sdn Bhd through Right First-Time testing and schedule adherence.
• To perform Analytical testing for semi-Finished Goods, finished goods and Stability product
• To conform to the Quality system in place of GSK
• To ensure that good laboratory practice is adhered for testing of Eno bulk, Eno Stability and Finished Products through the following laboratory procedures: -
o Schedule maintenance and calibration program
o Use of reference standard, out of specification procedure
• To prepare calculation sheet after the testing procedure of Eno bulk, Eno Stability and Finished products have been carried out
• To conform to Good Laboratory Practice and quality of its testing services which consistently requirements
• To trouble-shoot when there any analytical problem and recommend solutions
• To recommend and highlight to Section Head and QC Manager on methods to improve daily laboratory functional system
o To ensure Laboratory Quality system are adhered to the following: -
o Products meet or exceed customer expectations
o Emphasis is on problem prevention rather that detection
o Root causes of the problem are found, and effective corrections are made
o User feedback is used for product and process improvement
o Constant improvement of the product and testing procedures are enhanced
• To ascertain calibration system is in place and executed as required
• To inform Section Head and/or QC Manager for all non-conformance or any issue or problem related to Quality Laboratory immediately.

Requirements:
• Degree in Applied Science, Quality or equivalent.
• 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role and capacity will be an added advantage
• Basic understanding and skills on performing testing, analyzing results and product development technology will be added advantage
• Analytically familiar with high end lab equipment, such as HPLC,GC,UV,FTIR
• Familiar with GMP / GLP requirements.
• Capable to trouble-shoot analytical methods and lab equipment.
