Research Associates under NASI Project at Panjab University

Applications are invited for the NASI sponsored project entitled “Chemistry and Biology of

Organochalcogen Compounds” under Professor K. K. Bhasin, NASI- Senior Scientist,

Platinum Jubilee Fellow in the Department of Chemistry & Centre of Advanced Studies in

Chemistry Panjab University, Chandigarh:

Research Associate/ SRF - 01

Eligibility and Qualifications required for RA: M.Sc. in any type of branch of Chemistry

with Ph.D. in Inorganic /Organic Chemistry or Ph.D. thesis submitted with at least 3

research publications in SCI Journal. Research experience in synthetic Inorganic /Organic

Chemistry preferably main group elements is essential.

Emoluments: Rs. 47,000/=+ 7520/- (HRA) , as per rules of DST, New Delhi

Eligibility and Qualifications required for SRF: M.Sc. in any type of branch of Chemistry

with Ph.D. in Inorganic /Organic Chemistry or Ph.D. thesis submitted with at least 2

research publications in SCI Journal. Research experience in synthetic Inorganic /Organic

Chemistry preferably main group elements is essential.

Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/=+ 5600/- (HRA), as per rules of DST, New Delhi

Upper age limit: 35 years (as per guidelines of DST GOI)
