Job Description
The Person shall carry out Analysis & design of Civil & Structural works for the WET IC
The person shall carry out civil related works for waste water treatment plant structures and shall be familiar with IS 3370, IS 456 and IS 800 and shall have similar experience in wastewater treatment plants or water treatment plant
Design Engineers shall work with a team of Draughts person to manage the Engineering
activities within budget, deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of engineering
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Network:
The person shall carry out civil related works for waste water treatment plant structures and shall be familiar with IS 3370, IS 456 and IS 800 and shall have similar experience in wastewater treatment plants or water treatment plant
Design Engineers shall work with a team of Draughts person to manage the Engineering
activities within budget, deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of design documents., Checking of design document prepared Juniors
- Review of Detailed Engineering Drawings
- Submission of Structural drawings & design document and to client for seeking
- Preparation of Document Control Index (DCI)
- Coordination with Site Team and Client to meet the requirements of design and
- Preparing & checking BOQ and material with respect to previous projects
- Preparation of Design Basis Report for seeking approval from client regarding SOW.
- Interaction with Client for Drawing Approval and Clarification
- Interaction with Site for Clarification on drawing
- Optimize the structural quantities limiting the quantity with bidding quantity & at the
- Communication with interdisciplinary for getting civil inputs.
- Preparing mark up for drafting.
- Checking of drawings submitted by Draughts person.
- Preparation of pre-bid queries
- Study of clarifications & amendments, Soil investigation report (SIR), Tender
Operating Network:
- Internally: Engineering Heads, Cluster Heads – SCM, QC, Project Engineering
- External: Clients / Consultants, Vendors
- Maintaining design deliverables and records as per ISO.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; capacity to relate to all levels of management. Should have excellent written and verbal skills in English language.
- Candidates should be flexible to travel long term / short term to various project sites and client / consultant offices based on the project requirement for document approval and resolution of site technical issues during execution.
