    Although my current firm allows jeans every day, my years with BDO makes me feel weird about wearing jeans to the office except on Friday. People who know, know BDO will give you neuroses 😋

I was told by a colleague that I'm too old to still be using lol. I don't use lol in emails or professional communications, but I will sometimes drop a lol in the casual Slack chats at work. I'm leaving Deloitte, but my new job doesn't start until mid-July. When should I put in my notice? The last time I gave an employer a full two weeks' notice, I was fired that day. I don't want to be without a check. I've only been here three months, and haven't seen how my managers handle it when someone puts in their notice. Is Deloitte known for letting people work through their notice period?
