Need your advice! I've equal interests in embedded software / firmware development and application software development. I'm currently having a good offer (early career stage) in firmware development role. But I wanted to know about future prospectus in this domain? Is there any difference in the salaries offered in both the domains for any level of experience? Is it true that firmware domain will not offer me as much as application development companies can, in future, when I'll try to switch?
