Anyone interview with Lockheed Martin?
Just found out my new job will only require 1 day a week in office. The rest can be remote. Thank you god. Was really hoping for fully remote, but given the brutal current market and many other companies' more rigorous RTO policies, I feel lucky…
What offer to accept: 1) AI- Lead Director level role at a small tech startup company. TC $250k or 2.) Manager level at Bain in TMT strategy for $270k. Obviously Bain is better comp and is Bain but does hands on applied ownership of AI and Director title matter more?
Interested in exiting to a remote position that I can do internationally so I can take advantage of the various nomadic visas that exist in the world. Has anyone done this and or know of companies that allow for this kind of move?
Question for the group: Has anyone here taken a midlife/adult gap year or sabbatical? I'm excited (and a little nervous!) to start one soon – self-funded, between roles as I determine my next career step – and would love your wisdom: 1. What was most refreshing? 2. What brought clarity on your next chapter or a career change? 3. Best advice for someone on the precipice? 4. Magic wand, not-unlimited-budget: what's your wish list? Wins, regrets, surprises – all welcome. Thank you!
Google S&O or PE ops? Both AI-related roles. Google base + bonus + stock is slightly more than PE base + bonus, excluding carry which is long dated. Google is closer to frontier AI, PE ops is value creation.
who hasnt man
I have..numerous times
Well I am an internal candidate, and I already have a clearance. It depends on the manager and role really...some more fast, some move slow. Just like pretty much every other large corporation
