Has anyone interviewed for Aramark? Any tips?
This may sound weird but hear me out. I have an interview coming up for a role that I have a strong suspicion is not a good fit for me. So I figure this is a good opportunity to try out some things that I’ve never been brave enough to do before. E.g. try to prioritize making personal connection over demonstrating the fit. I’m looking for more ideas though. Do you have any suggestions or questions that I can try? Happy to report back with results!
i have a second interview coming up soon for a job that's a perfect fit for me! this is my first time making it to a "second round" as most of my interviews are just screening calls or single rounds w/ no follow up. i don't recall getting asked any behavioral questions in the first interview, it was mainly just a vibe check and going over resume. this next one will be with my potential boss. i always ask smart questions and send thank you emails. if i've made it this far is that a good sign?
Just read an article from Fortune about people feeling too burnt out to apply for jobs. Is that you? I get it. This paragraph really summed it up for me: "Compounding the immobility: job seekers are being ghosted at a three-year high, with more than half of applicants reporting no response from employers in the past year. Hiring experts connect the trend directly to AI-inflated application volumes overwhelming recruiters — the same feedback loop burning candidates out. [...]"
There is a company that I interviewed with and they passed me up. Now the company is reposting the job again. It appears that they have not found the correct candidate Would it be wrong to resubmit my resume to the company for another interview? Or should I just I just correct about it? and disregard?
How long from your application do you wait before you give up on getting an interview? With all the automated everything these days, why the heck are so many companies ghosting applicants??
I had an interview scheduled. 2 hours, call never came. I followed up with AI (Allie). Said no appointment times available for rescheduling. I followed up with HR who stated they reviewed my qualifications and I wasn't a good fit. This was for an Accounts Receivable position.
They are horrible, I worked there and they pay the workers more than the supervisors and treat them like shit
Any tips on how to get into copywriting?
What role are you interviewing for
I worked there for a long time. It’s awful. Hourly employees are expendable to include managers. They do not train at all and provide zero guidance. They work you to death and if hourly you work off the clock. The benefits suck unless a salaried role then they are ok. I do not recommend working for them unless you want to be exhausted everyday. They do not reward effort or hard work either. If your promised a raise get it in writing because they do not honor that either. You will not have a life if you accept a role.
