TCS vs Synechron? Hey folks, need some advice! Got two offers: * Synechron: 31 LPA (28 fixed) * TCS: Asked for 35 fixed, maybe 31-33 max. They might provide by today. * YOE: 12 years Is TCS worth despite the layoffs? Some say TCS is good and Servicenow is safe there and layoff happens for people were in bench and niche tech. Others suggest Synechron for its banking focus, growth may be there but worry about project stability and lesser clients. Super confused, please suggest.
I’ve attached my current salary structure because I’m a bit confused about what counts as fixed CTC and what counts as variable CTC. I tried checking with ChatGPT and Gemini, and both suggested that I don’t have any variable component — meaning my total salary is fixed, and my variable CTC is zero. Since you folks are actively exploring job opportunities, I trust your perspective and was hoping you could help me confirm whether this is correct.
Hi all, If someone gets an offer in both HCL and Coforge (yoe 7 years) HCL: 22 LPA (Fixed). Coforge: 25 LPA (Fixed). Which one is better from WLB and Job Stability point of view (considering no hikes for the next 2-3 years).
I am a fresher (graduating soon) and have 2 offers and need to make a decision. For context I’m based in Delhi NCR 21 (F), wanting to make an exceptional career in HR. Offer 1: Campus Placement at Accenture in their ACAD program (permanent employment as an HR Analyst + 18 months of PGC in HRM from XLRI) [Mumbai] Offer 2: Graduate Trainee in Hr at BCG for 2 years with potential conversion at the end of my tenure [Gurgaon]. I want to know 2 years down the line who would be preferred/better off.
I think I can answer this accurately. My prev company was J P Morgan For AVP role they can stretch till 38 - 40 LPA Fixed ( Bonus usually 12 percent ). I recently cleared interview for Morgan Stanley and their offering is also the same. 40 - 42 LPA - For Senior Manager Role Again fixed ( Bonus - 15 percent ) I am still in discussion ( Will post again if they are offering more ) My experience is 9.5 yrs as a Java Developer
Ur CCTC?
In case someone wanna know the hierarchy structure of J P Morgan Software Engineer 1 ( Direct from College) Software Engineer 2 ( 3 yrs + ) Associate Software Engineer ( 5 yrs + ) Assistant Vice President ( 7 yrs + ) Vice President ( 10 - 12 yrs + ) Executive Director ( 15 yrs + )
Any idea what might be the band for a role of business analyst 1 ? I'm interviewing for a role currently and not sure if it's appropriate for 8 yrs of experience which I have.
You can ask for AVP role directly. That would be band 5b. Band 6 is also quite good at 8.5 Years experience. Your promotion to 5b would depend on a lot of factors some political as well. But overall, it’s a good place to work generally but it depends on the team. You can switch internally as well and ask for hike. Bonus is generally more that 100 percent.
Depends on team. My manager codes as well
In jpmc you can expect 40L in 8-9 years of experience. I think you can get in Morgan Stanley.
