If there any consequences for being marked as a pattern day trader? Thinking about day trading GME this coming week

For a bunch of consultants this thread really lacks the ability to do research.
Pdt is more than 3 round trip trades in rolling 5 days in a margin account.
If you make 3 round trip trades, you are usually able to continue trading on the same day, however, the following day your account will be set to close only.
You can either deposit funds to meet the minimum requirement or call for a reset.

You won't be able to day trade if you are marked as a PDT for something like 90 days. So, if you are restricted and get into a position, you won't be able to close out of it.

If you mean legal I'd say none. Anyone doing their own trades with public info should be safe. The only people with legal liabilities would be people encouraging others as some sort of conspiracy IMO.
