This seems to be very common unfortunately. They use a lot of subcontract companies with some seriously shady recruiters. Some people within Perspecta even seem to work together with these recruiters to try to get people into whatever role they want them in, regardless of what the employee actually wants. People aren't paid fairly and nobody can ever give you a straight answer about anything. It's a big giant pass the buck game and huge waste of government spending.
