You start off my learning about your client. Research their company and the person you'll be speaking to-Understanding their background and any challenges the company might have. Find something to connect personally with them on- whether it be a shared hobby or shared connection. Ask questions and really listen to understand. Build trust and consistently deliver quality service. Be open and honest in your communication and demand the same from them.
