Be a key SAS Administrator on our tech website, managing diverse SAS tools' installation, configuration, and maintenance. Your expertise will optimize operations, ensure reliability, and provide crucial technical support, fueling our data-driven endeavors.
Handing the administration of various tools like SAS Visual Analytics, SAS EG 5.1, SAS OLAP cube studio, SAS E-miner, SAS info map studio, SAS data integration studio, SAS Web report studio, SAS Bi dashboard, and SAS information delivery portal With the help of SAS Management console.
Install, set up, Configure, and maintain SAS-EBI servers on Windows/UNIX/AIX/Linux environment Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of client for SAS Application. Checking SAS Services status and restart of SAS services if and when required. Space Management of SAS Server like clearing of logs, data size created by users, etc on Linux/Windows.
Using SAS Management Console features like User/Server/Schedule/Library Management. Creating Base SAS and Database (Oracle/ODBC/SQL/etc.) library using SMC.
Deploying and creating the flow in LSF Scheduler. Checking Metadata performance and taking steps forward to get the environment up and running at all time best and do changes in configuration files as required.
Maintaining the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Availability & SLA Violation Report.
Assist Infrastructure in capacity planning, coordinate between SAS help and users.
Involve in engagement with the SAS Tech support team for the resolution of errors.
Communicates technical alternatives to management and recommends appropriate actions.
Support end users with the best available solution at the earliest.
Establish best practices for administering the Enterprise environment.
Desired profile of the candidate 2-8 years of SAS experience configuring, and administering SAS solutions.
Strong experience with installation, configuration, and administration of SAS 9.1.3 or higher.
Must be knowledgeable of best practices using SAS (enterprise guide, stored processes, information maps, and web reports studio). Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning of OS and SAS parameters.
Experience in deploying and scheduling jobs using LSF and using PM.
Hands-on with OS like Linux/Windows, etc. Experience with grid architecture will be an added advantage.
