We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, brand management, and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in social media platforms, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and a desire to grow with a fast-paced startup.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Content Creation & Curation

• Assist in creating, curating, and scheduling compelling content for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok .
• Develop graphics, creatives, captions, hashtags, and engaging content ideas using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or AI-powered platforms .
• Create short videos, reels, and promotional content for brand campaigns .

2. Social Media Management

• Schedule and publish posts across social media channels using management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer) .
• Monitor and manage social media accounts by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner .
• Maintain consistency in content, branding, and brand voice across all platforms .

3. Content Calendar & Planning

• Assist in developing weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with marketing goals and brand identity .
• Plan campaigns, posting schedules, and content strategies to drive engagement and reach .

4. SEO & Research

• Perform SEO keyword research for content and social media campaigns .
• Research trending hashtags, topics, competitors, and digital content opportunities to ensure content remains relevant and innovative .
• Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and brand visibility .

5. Reporting & Analytics

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, impressions, and ROI from organic and paid efforts .
• Analyze content performance and suggest improvements using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform insights) .

6. Influencer & Community Outreach

• Support outreach to creators, influencers, and partners for collaborations and promotional initiatives .
• Assist in developing and growing a student/community ambassador program .

7. Brand Development & Campaign Support

• Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives and promotional strategies aligned with overall digital marketing goals .
• Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities as needed .

8. AI & Automation Workflow Research

• Explore AI tools for content creation, scheduling, reporting, and optimization to improve digital marketing efficiency .
• Suggest innovative ideas to enhance marketing workflows using modern technology .

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Qualifications

EducationCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, Public Relations, or a related field .CommunicationExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for crafting engaging, human-sounding content .
