Picktime is a free online scheduling software that allows businesses and individuals to schedule appointments, meetings, and events quickly and easily.

Picktime can be used by a variety of professionals such as doctors, lawyers, therapists, and tutors, as well as businesses such as salons, gyms, and spas.

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Java Developer, you should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
• Work with backend frameworks such asSpring BootorSpring MVC
• Design and develop RESTful APIs for application integration.Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Use frontend frameworks like Bootstrap for responsive design.Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to implement new features.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.Learn and follow software development best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Knowledge of backend frameworks such as Spring MVC or Spring Boot.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 for building web page structures.
• Experience with CSS3 for styling web applications.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript for interactive web pages.
• Understanding of JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred).

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of web development and software programming.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment

Preferred Skills :

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and database concepts (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with any personal or academic projects in web development.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
