About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Unity VR Developer Intern to join our development team. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing immersive Virtual Reality (VR) applications using Unity. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in VR, XR, game development, simulation training, and interactive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain VR applications using Unity Engine.
• Create interactive VR experiences for training, simulation, and educational projects.
• Implement user interactions, UI systems, and gameplay mechanics.
• Integrate VR SDKs such as Meta Quest, OpenXR, Oculus Integration, or XR Interaction Toolkit.
• Optimize application performance for VR platforms.
• Debug, test, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, and developers to deliver high-quality VR experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
• Document development processes and technical implementations.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Unity Engine and C# programming.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Unity UI, animations, prefabs, and scene management.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of VR development concepts and interaction systems.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meta Quest devices.
• Knowledge of XR Interaction Toolkit.
• Experience with OpenXR or Oculus SDK.
• Understanding of 3D mathematics, physics, and optimization techniques.
• Experience in developing AR/VR applications, simulations, or games.
• Familiarity with Blender, Maya, or other 3D tools.

Educational Qualification

• Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Game Development, or a related field.
• Final-year students are encouraged to apply.
