Summer is here, and the weather is heating up across the country. This time of year brings fun and outdoor activities, but it also increases the risks for your heart due to extreme heat. Additionally, an average of 33 drownings occur in the United States each day, one-third of which are fatal. Knowing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, could be the key to saving someone from cardiac arrest or drowning. As an emergency medical services company, our team members are trained and certified in CPR as part of their roles as EMTs, Paramedics and CCPs.
