Not a surprise -- this company's mission is to transport gas and other fuels all across North America. Bulk products trucker Mission Petroleum Carriers specializes in the transportation of chemicals, crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, and refined petroleum products throughout Canada, Mexico, and the US from about 15 terminals, primarily located in Texas. Maintaining a fleet of some 325 tractors and 365 trailers, it transports fuel for Wal-Mart, Sam's, H-E-B, Valero, and other major distributors. Mission Petroleum Carriers is a subsidiary of gasoline retailer TETCO. The company was founded in 1965 by Tom E. Turner. (TETCO itself is short for Tom E. Turner Co.)
