Keene State College is keen on providing liberal arts educations. Part of the University System of New Hampshire, the state-funded four-year institution offers Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Education degrees. The college's 5,500 students attend classes in the arts and humanities, professional and graduate studies, sciences, and continuing education academic schools. Founded in 1909 and located in southeastern New Hampshire, Keene belongs to the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges and is affiliated with the NCAA's Division III.
